🌳 Jesus Sees Zacchaeus

Luke 19:1–10 · Jesus sees me and loves me.

📖 The story

Zacchaeus was a short man who took too much money from people, so nobody liked him. When Jesus came to town, Zacchaeus climbed a tree to see over the crowd. Jesus stopped, looked up, called him by name and came to his house! Zacchaeus' heart changed, and he gave back what he had taken, and more.

🤩 Fun facts

  • Zacchaeus was the chief tax collector in Jericho, and he was very rich.

  • Jesus already knew his name!
  • He gave half of his things to the poor and paid people back four times as much.
