The lesson works for a mixed group. Little ones (ages 4–6) get simple questions, a short version of the memory verse with actions, and a leader to help with the craft. Older kids (ages 7–10) get deeper questions about why Mary and Joseph could be brave, who Jesus is, and what it means that he came to save his people.
