🖍️ Let There Be Light: Creation Day 1 Colouring Page
Genesis 1:1–5 · ages 3–8 · free, no sign-up
A free printable Bible colouring page (coloring page, if you're in the US!) of Let There Be Light, from Genesis 1:1–5. It has a memory verse and three talk-about-it questions printed under the picture, so it works at home, in Sunday school or in kids' church. Print as many as you need.
The story (Genesis 1:1–5)
In the very beginning, before there were any people, animals or trees, everything was dark and empty. Then God spoke. He said, Let there be light, and light burst out across the world! God saw that the light was good. He called the light day and the darkness night. That was the very first day of creation, and it was only the start of all the wonderful things God was about to make.
Memory verse
“God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”
(Genesis 1:3, World English Bible, public domain)
Talk about it
- What was the very first thing God made?
- What would the world be like with no light?
