🖍️ Sun, Moon and Stars: Creation Day 4 Colouring Page
Genesis 1:14–19 · ages 3–8 · free, no sign-up
A free printable Bible colouring page (coloring page, if you're in the US!) of Sun, Moon and Stars, from Genesis 1:14–19. It has a memory verse and three talk-about-it questions printed under the picture, so it works at home, in Sunday school or in kids' church. Print as many as you need.
The story (Genesis 1:14–19)
On the fourth day, God put lights in the sky. He made the sun to shine in the daytime and the moon to glow at night, and then he scattered the stars right across the sky. These lights help us tell the seasons, the days and the years. There are more stars than anyone could ever count, but the Bible says God knows each one by name. And he knows your name too!
Memory verse
“God made the two great lights... He also made the stars.”
(Genesis 1:16, World English Bible, public domain)
Talk about it
- Can you count the stars in the picture?
- What do you see in the sky at night?
- God knows every star's name. He knows your name too!
