🖍️ God's Little Gardener: Caring for God's World
Genesis 2:8–15 · ages 3–8 · free, no sign-up
A free printable Bible colouring page (coloring page, if you're in the US!) of God's Little Gardener, from Genesis 2:8–15. It has a memory verse and three talk-about-it questions printed under the picture, so it works at home, in Sunday school or in kids' church. Print as many as you need.
The story (Genesis 2:8–15)
God planted a beautiful garden in Eden, full of trees with tasty fruit and a river flowing through it. Then he put the first man, Adam, in the garden and gave him a job: to work the garden and take care of it. God still wants us to look after his world today. Ladybirds help gardeners by eating the bugs that harm plants, and we can help too by caring for plants, animals and each other.
Memory verse
“The LORD God took the man, and put him in the garden of Eden to cultivate and keep it.”
(Genesis 2:15, World English Bible, public domain)
Talk about it
- How can we look after God's world?
