🖍️ The Skink: Aussie Creature Colouring Page
Genesis 1:24–25 · ages 3–8 · free, no sign-up
A free printable Bible colouring page (coloring page, if you're in the US!) of The Skink, from Genesis 1:24–25. It has a memory verse and three talk-about-it questions printed under the picture, so it works at home, in Sunday school or in kids' church. Print as many as you need.
The story (Genesis 1:24–25)
Skinks are small, shiny lizards that live all over Australia. You might spot one sunning itself on a warm log or a garden path, then darting off into the grass when it sees you. On the sixth day of creation, God made all the creatures that creep along the ground, big and small, and he saw that they were good. Even a little skink shows how much care God put into his world.
Memory verse
“God made... everything that creeps on the ground after its kind.”
(Genesis 1:24-25, World English Bible, public domain)
Talk about it
- What does a skink look like?
- Why do we use gentle hands with little creatures?
- What creature would you like to find in your backyard?
