The story (Genesis 8:15–9:17)
After many days on the ark, the flood waters went down and the ark came to rest on the mountains. God told Noah it was time to come out. Out came Noah's family and all the animals, two by two: giraffes, elephants, lions and more! Noah thanked God for keeping them safe. Then God put a beautiful rainbow in the clouds as a sign of his promise never to flood the whole earth again.
Memory verse
“I set my rainbow in the cloud.”
(Genesis 9:13, World English Bible, public domain)
