Matthew 2:13–15 · ages 3–8 · free, no sign-up
A free printable Bible colouring page (coloring page, if you're in the US!) of Joseph, Mary and Jesus escaping to Egypt, from Matthew 2:13–15. It has a memory verse and three talk-about-it questions printed under the picture, so it works at home, in Sunday school or in kids' church. Print as many as you need.
The story (Matthew 2:13–15)
King Herod was jealous when he heard a new king had been born, and he wanted to hurt baby Jesus. But God was watching over his Son. An angel came to Joseph in a dream and told him to get up quickly and take Mary and Jesus to Egypt. That same night, Joseph packed up and they set off under the stars. They stayed safe in Egypt until it was time to come home.
Memory verse
“Arise and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt.”
(Matthew 2:13, World English Bible, public domain)
