🖍️ Jesus in the Manger: Free Nativity Colouring Page
Luke 2:6–16 · ages 3–8 · free, no sign-up
A free printable Bible colouring page (coloring page, if you're in the US!) of baby Jesus in the manger, from Luke 2:6–16. It has a memory verse and three talk-about-it questions printed under the picture, so it works at home, in Sunday school or in kids' church. Print as many as you need.
The story (Luke 2:6–16)
This is the very first Christmas! Baby Jesus has been born in Bethlehem, and he is fast asleep in a manger filled with hay. Mary and Joseph watch over him with big smiles. Jesus is not just any baby: he is God's own Son, the Saviour God promised long ago. The Bible doesn't list the animals, but a stable like this might have had a cow, a donkey and some sheep. God's greatest gift had arrived.
Memory verse
“There is born to you today, in David’s city, a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.”
(Luke 2:11, World English Bible, public domain)
Talk about it
- What animals might have been in the stable?
- Why is baby Jesus so special?
