The story (Matthew 2:1–10)
Far away in the east, some wise men saw a brand-new star shining in the sky. They knew it meant a special king had been born, so they packed up and set off on a long journey to find him. They travelled over hills and deserts, following the star night after night. When the star stopped over the place where young Jesus was, the wise men were filled with joy. God had led them all the way.
